The Backporch Shufflers are a five-piece folk acoustic act out of Washington County, TX – consisting of guitar, harmonica, fiddle, bass, and percussion, with a sound that’s been compared to Old Crow Medicine Show, The Gourds, and early Robert Earl Keen (http://www.txmusictv.com/blog/under-the-radar-11-beau-hinze-the-backporch-shufflers.html).

The Shufflers have played numerous venues and festivals across the state, opening for acts such as Randy Rogers Band, Eli Young Band, Phil Pritchett, Bob Schneider, Band of Heathens, and Texas Tornadoes. In 2010, the band won a statewide competition against nearly 500 bands to Play the Bash at the Lone Star Brewery.
The Shufflers have produced two CDs: "Undertow" (2010) and "Six Pack: The Dirty Half Dozen" (2011). Prior to the formation of the Backporch Shufflers, Beau produced "This Round's On Me" (2007).
